危険ドラッグの成分4物質を新たに指定薬物に指定4 Substances in Dangerous Drugs Newly Designated as Specified Drugs厚生労働省は、危険ドラッグに含まれる4物質を指定薬物に指定する省令を公布し、令和8年8月28日に施行。薬事審議会で指定が適当とされたこれらの物質について、医療以外の用途での製造、輸入、販売、所持、使用が禁止される。海外からの輸入防止を強化し、インターネット販売も含む無承認医薬品の取締りを強化する方針。事業者への販売・購入・輸入の禁止を警告。The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare has published an ordinance designating four substances found in dangerous drugs as specified drugs, to take effect on August 28, 2026. Approved by the Pharmaceutical Affairs Council, these substances will be prohibited for manufacturing, import, sale, possession, and use outside medical purposes. The ministry will strengthen border controls to prevent imports and enhance enforcement against unapproved drugs sold online. Businesses are warned against selling, purchasing, or importing these substances.

The study included 580 e-scooter riders, 7,027 motorcyclists, and 7,640 cyclists. E-scooter riders had 3.45 times higher risk of traumatic brain injury compared to motorcyclists, 1.46 times higher internal injury risk, and 3.24 times higher vascular injury risk. Compared to cyclists, risks were 1.74 times higher for brain injury, 1.36 times for internal injuries, and 1.66 times for vascular injuries. Fracture risk was 20% lower than motorcyclists and 10% lower than cyclists. Among e-scooter cases, 16.2% were under 18 (vs. 6.2% for motorcyclists and 8.9% for cyclists). Helmet use was only 5.9% for e-scooter riders, significantly lower than motorcyclists (75.7%) and cyclists (45.0%). The study attributes the high brain injury risk to low helmet use and e-scooter design causing riders to fall over handlebars. Additional analysis showed males had 36% lower collision risk but females reported 2.1 times higher severe injury rates.
