群馬県初の梨新品種「明泉」決定Gunma Prefecture Names First Locally Developed Pear Variety 'Meisen'群馬県が独自に育成した初の梨新品種「明泉」(めいせん)の商標名を決定。この品種は令和7年から栽培を開始し、今年初めて実りを得た。今後、令和10年頃の本格出荷に向けて収穫量を増やす予定。名称は交配親の「明水」、温泉王国ぐんまの泉のような食味、上毛かるたの「銘仙」から由来。令和7年3月に県内梨生産者に穂木を配布開始。Gunma Prefecture has named its first locally developed pear variety 'Meisen' (pronounced meisen). Cultivation began in 2025 across the prefecture, with the first harvest this year. Production is expected to increase gradually toward full-scale shipment by around 2028. The name derives from the parent variety 'Ake Mizu', the refreshing taste inspired by Gunma's hot spring culture, and 'Meisen' from the Jomoku Karuta card game. Seedlings were distributed to local pear farmers in March 2025.

愛知県、熊本地震被災地にトイレトレーラー派遣Aichi Prefecture Dispatches Toilet Trailer to Kumamoto Earthquake Disaster Area愛知県は、本県からの要請を受け、内閣府の災害対応車両登録制度に基づきトイレトレーラー1台と運搬・管理用職員2名を派遣する。派遣期間は2026年8月7日から約1週間(被災地状況により延長の可能性あり)。出発式は8月7日午前9時50分から55分、愛知県庁本庁舎正面玄関前(雨天時:議会議事堂正面玄関前)で行われ、知事、副知事、防災安全局長ら8名が出席。トイレトレーラーはバリアフリー仕様で災害時トイレの重要性を啓発するメッセージをラッピング。県内3か所に配置され、時は防災訓練やイベントで展示し備えの重要性を啓発。Aichi Prefecture dispatched one toilet trailer and two staff members to Kumamoto Prefecture's earthquake disaster area under the Cabinet Office's Disaster Response Vehicle Registration System.
