新宿駅でごみ箱ロボット実証実験 JR東日本が実施JR Can Robot Conducts Trial at Shinjuku Station JR EastJR東日本は9月4日、新宿駅地下1階改札内コンコースで移動式ごみ箱ロボットの実証実験を実施すると発表した。実験期間は9月8日から11月20日の平日、午前10時から午後5時まで。米Cartken開発の自動配送ロボットを採用し、三菱電機とメルコモビリティーソリューションズが運用。車体にJRんじゅくまのラッピングを施し、東・西・中央東・中央西の各各改札内エリアを巡回。安全性、、混雑時の課題抽出、利用客への影響、社会的受け入れを検証。既設ごみ箱は通常使用可能。撮影映映像は実以外で使用しない。JR East announced on September 4 a trial of a mobile trash can robot in the underground concourse of Shinjuku Station. The robot features JR Shinjuku Station's character 'Shinjukuma' wrapping and patrols East, West, Central East, and Central West concourse areas. Tests include safety verification, congestion-related challenges, impact on passenger movement, and social acceptance. Existing trash cans remain in use. Footage is used solely for analysis.
