An event held every year by the Adachi Kite Festival Executive Committee to promote traditional Japanese kites (wadako) and support the wholesome development of young people. Elementary school children from the city fly kites they made together with their families during summer vacation, in the sky above the Rainbow Plaza on the Arakawa riverbed.
