The reitaisai (main annual festival) of Kanda Myojin Shrine, regarded as one of the three great Edo festivals and one of the three great festivals of Japan, held once every two years. During the Shinkosai procession, mikoshi (portable shrines) and floats parade through the Kanda, Nihonbashi, Otemachi-Marunouchi and Akihabara areas.
