A competition that turns the notorious difficulty of pulling up Nerima daikon into a game, featuring a championship division in which participants compete on the number of radishes pulled within a time limit, and a group division that competes on the length of the radishes pulled. Radishes harvested at the event are used as ingredients in school lunches at Nerima Ward's elementary and junior high schools.
