This festival carries on local history and tradition and is Date City's largest matsuri. By day, armored samurai take part in a mounted procession, and by night, floats painted with warrior images parade through the city.
AccessAbout 5 minutes by car from Date IC on the Doo Expressway; or take a bus from Date-Monbetsu Station and get off at the "Michi-no-Eki/Culture Center-mae" stop.
