One of the largest summer festivals in the Tokachi area. At the drum festival, taiko groups from across Hokkaido gather for powerful performances, while at "Yumefuruya," men's and women's portable shrines parade through the streets in gratitude to the pioneers and in prayer for a good harvest. On the final night, a bon-odori dance set to live music is held, with elaborate costumes and choreography as highlights.
